Clinical interpretation of ACMC

Posted on

We have previously reported the output from ACMC in logits, and given a suggestion for clinical interpretation of the results based on that. Consequently, when changing from logits to a 0-100 scale this also needs to be changed. In this table you can see how to interpretate the results in both logits and ACMC units.

Interpretation – patient is: logits ACMC units
Non-capable less than -2.19 less than 37.2
Somewhat capable  -2.19 – 0.00 37.2 – 46.6
Generally capable  0.01- 2.19 46.7 – 57.1
Extremely capable  2.20 or higher 57.2 or higher
