How to become an ACMC rater

Having the knowledge in the functional potentials of upper limb myoelectric prostheses and experience of myoelectric prosthetic training is a prerequisite for the administration of ACMC . During the 2-days ACMC training course, you will learn, e.g., the theoretical base of ACMC, the scoring technique, etc. After the course you will have to do at least 3 assessments and send the scores back to us.

Please email to acmc@regionorebrolan.se if you are interested in taking the training course. You will have access to the ACMC website after the course. This allows you to enter the scores in the Rasch model in the website and after processing with Rasch analysis you receive a measure that reflects the person’s ability to control the myoelectric prosthetic hand.
